“Jang Keun Suk Fest” to be held in Japan!




Hallyu Star Jang Keun Suk’s popularity in Japan soars higher!
There will be a “Jang Keun Suk Fest” at Tokayo Cinemart from July 9, 2011 and ends on the day after his birthday [August 4] August 5, 2011. The actor’s old movies that he starred in are going to be shown every week. The movies that were mentioned like ”The Happy Life” (2007), “Baby and I” (2008), and other movies such as “The Longest 24 Months” (2008), “Do Re Mi Fa Sol La Si Do” (2008) and four works yet to be shown.
Last month, Jang Keun Suk releasede his debut album called “Let Me Cry”. This song was simultaneously on the top of Oricon Daily Chart and Weekly Chart. This is the first time in 30 years that a non-Japanese singer conquers the Oricon Charts with a debut single! 30 years ago, a non-Japanese also conquered the charts back in December 1980, Kondo Masahiko debuted with ‘Sneaker Blues’ in Japan.
In Japan TBS, the KBS 2TV drama starring Jang Keun Suk  ’Mary Stayed Out All Night’ is currently being aired. In July also the japanese version of “You’re Beautiful will start its production.
Meanwhile, Jang Keun Suk will be perfroming in different Asian Cities for his 2011 Cri Show Asia Tour. He’s also currently filming the movie, You Pet which also stars Han Ye Sul and FT Island’s Choi Jong Hoon.
